Hopefully, you have seen this picture before.  It is an image of the homepage of our website.  The image of VBS often changes to promote other things, but the headers across the top stay the same.  Today I want to tell you about a unique way in which you can support FBC.

Years ago, every town had a physical Christian Book Store.  It was where you went to buy Christian books, music, gifts, t-shirts, and more.  Churches would go to these stores to purchase church supplies like communion cups and bulletins.  By and large, these physical Christian Book Stores have gone out of business.  Fortunately, online “Christian Book Stores” have emerged to help fill this void.

One of these ‘Online Christian Book Stores’ is ChristianBook.com.  Often it is simply called CBD.  They are a fabulous resource for Books, Bibles, Music, Dvds, Church Supplies, and more.  Our church purchases frequently makes purchases from their site.

The really interesting thing is that if you get to their online store through our link, we will earn a commission on everything you purchase.  Here’s how it all works:

Step One:  Go to our website – www.faithbaptistwh.org.  You should see something very similar to the image above.

Step Two:  Click on the link that says “Shop at CBD.com.”  The image below shows you where this link can be found.  Clicking on this link will take you directly to their website.

Step Three:  Make your purchases.  Once you are on CBD’s website, you will not see anything that references our church.  Just make your purchases like you would for any website.  The ‘internet genies’ will work their magic in the background and will know that we sent you to them.

It really is that simple.  It is really a win-win situation.  You get great products and service.  We get a small commission.
